The mission of the Farm School is “To connect people to land.” And the creative challenge at their annual fund raiser each year, The Big Pig Gig, is to create a hand crafted and impactful experience of being at the farm for their donors at the Charles Hotel. To accomplish this I hid short throw projectors on the ground and projected nearly two hundred photos I had taken around the farm onto barn board “canvases”. The effect was memorable. Supporters around the room were hugged from every angle by glowing boards and drawn into constantly evolving scenes from the farm, which seemed to appear magically - as if they were emanating from the wood itself.
